Plant-based meat options are becoming increasingly popular with new ranges of meat free alternatives available. 

Made by Nashville-base company Atlantic Natural Foods Loma Linda , TUNO aims to offer a high protein based alternative to Tuna. It’s made using soya protein and natural flavourings which has a similarly flaky texture to real tuna. A serving contains 100 calories and is packed full of protein. Available in cans or on the go pouches, it also comes in five different flavours with Morrisons being the first UK supermarket to introduce it to its shelves.

Beyond Meat
Beyond Meat's Beyond Burger uses 22 ingredients in its attempt to re-create the taste and texture of a beef burger. Providing 20grams of protein per serving, it has no GMOs, soy, or gluten. The world’s first plant-based burger looks, cooks, and satisfies like beef and has all of the meaty deliciousness of a traditional burger with the plant-based benefits. You needn’t stop at burgers either, with plant-based sausages and ground-beef options also available.

Littler Peckers
World's First Vegetarian Butcher is shaking up the world of plant-based gastronomy. Its frozen Little Peckers vegan chicken-style nuggets are soy based and provide a great source of protein. The brainchild of Dutch farmer Jaap Korteweg, the Vegetarian Butcher offers plant-based alternatives for a number of classic dishes including meatballs, ground mince and hotdogs.

Coconut bacon
Pimp My Salad Coconut Bacon provides the perfect alternative for a plant-based bacon alternative. Made out of 80 per cent coconut flakes it is packed with and protein busting soy. Enjoy the lowly dried, vegan, gluten-free snack or sprinkle on your favourite foods such as sandwiches, salads, and pasta.
