In focus: The Coros Pace 2

Unleash the power of the new Coros Pace 2 and discover its great features

Boasting a super lightweight and slim design, this mid-level fitness watch is packed with thoughtfully designed controls and fitness focused tech.

Available in two colours – navy and white – the modern looking design features a nylon or silicone band with a plastic case. The clock face boasts an impressive 240x240 pixel resolution and a battery life of 20 days is a huge bonus.

The Coros Pace 2 has a lot to offer the regular wearer – event though it may struggle to replace your phone on a workout. Receive app alerts on your wrists alerting you to incoming coming calls, texts and emails and even set up a ‘do not disturb’ window so you can work without interruptions.

It also offers sleep tracking which can be used to calculate how well you’ve recovered from your workouts and an 'AI trainer' helps you manage your training load.

Recording your activity routes won’t be a problem either thanks to GPS which is supported by two (soon to be three) satellite positing systems for pinpoint accuracy.

While it may not offer the same cutting-edge technology as some of the top level sports watches the Pace 2 does feature multiple activity profiles including running, swimming, strength and gym cardio. It also boats training programs and plans created by COROS athletes and coaches available on COROS.com.

Compared to its competitors the Coros app is quite minimalist in design and functionality but there are lots more third-party options available than you’ll get with most fitness tracker companion apps.

Priced at £179.99 the stylish Pace 2 packs plenty of punch at a competitive price.
