Whatever your age or ability, everyone can shoot arrows! Archery is a sport that anyone can have a go at, to gain skills and build muscles.  It’s a sport you can enjoy with friends and family. You can do archery purely for the fun and the social side of the sport, or you can even aspire to become a competitive archer. There are different types of archery - target, which you see at the Olympics, field archery, clout archery, and there is also a variety of bows that you can try.

Archery is sport that values focus, intensity and discipline just as much as it does accuracy in shooting.   It is the perfect pastime for those looking for a great balance between fun and fitness in a social atmosphere that the whole family can enjoy. Even the elderly and the disabled have a plethora of options to try in this challenging sport. You can find places to play all across the UK, from leisure centres to holiday parks even to game fairs.

Archery is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK with over 1,100 clubs spread throughout the country, including London and the South East.  Archery is also growing in popularity in schools and universities.
