TAKE AIM!

Archery is a great sport for meeting friends and indulging your fiercely competitive side. Archery GB has over 34,000 members over all ages who have had their imagination captured by the bow and arrow. The infrastructure of archery in Britain is based around clubs in counties and regions, and there are countless opportunities to get involved. The sport is a particular draw for those with disabilities and Britain are one of the leading countries in para-archery talent – which incorporates the compound bow unlike the Olympic event. With athletes such as double paralympic gold medallist Danielle Brown even competing in able-bodied competition (she helped the compound archery team to gold in the 2010 Commonwealth Games) there is a lot to be inspired by.
