SWIM! RUN! RIDE!

Thanks to the Brownlee brothers and Helen Jenkins’ success on the world stage, triathlon is continuing to grow across the country. The London 2012 Olympics saw the world’s eyes on the British capital as the best in the world swam, cycled and ran through the city’s centre. It’s a sport that is fantastic for spectators and with its extreme tests of fitness across different disciplines it’s easy to see why it appeals to those wanting to become the ultimate all-round athlete. Want to take part? You can find information on the British Triathlon website for joining in with everything from grassroots and club level to age-group and paratriathlon.

JOIN THE CLUB

British Triathlon have everything you need to know about clubs on their website, but if you are looking for your closest club you need to head to your home nation’s triathlon website: for England, Wales or Scotland.

WHAT’S ON

British Triathlon have a catalogue of events on their website so you can take a day out in the sun to watch top athletes compete.

COACHING

Again, the best way to get into coaching is to head to your home nation’s triathlon page and check out the details of Levels 1, 2 and 3 coaching: for England, Wales or Scotland.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers keep events going smooth so that the athletes and the spectators can enjoy the sport’s full potential. Keep up to date with British Triathlon for news on volunteering opportunities.
