As well as the annual guide, Leisure Kicks organises and delivers an Active Living Tour, poster campaigns and sponsors local grassroots sports teams
We have worked with the sports network and education sector since 2007 delivering branded goody bags that are used to encourage sports participation and sign-ups. The education sector include FE Colleges (16-18) and universities (18-24-plus) where their Enrichment teams, sports clubs and academies purchase goody bags as an incentive for students to sign-up to play sport.
The Sports Network includes major and independent gyms, sports centres, NGB events, sports academies, yoga and Pilates studios where goody bags are offered for sign-ups for various initiatives ranging from increasing memberships to increasing footfall at local events.
Leisure Kicks is funded to produce various poster campaigns throughout the year with varied targets and locations. Posters are A2, carry a call to action and community-based message based on health and wellbeing and locations include the education sector, GP surgeries, physio rooms, community hubs through to garden centres.
Grassroots sport clubs are important to local communities. They create a sense of unity, get us physically active and should bring varied backgrounds together with a common cause – play sport. But funds, volunteers, organising and general day to day bills can be crippling so Leisure Kicks support them with content based around them, and sponsors a handful of sports clubs every year by providing support grants and sponsoring team kits. From Old Grammarians Rugby Club to Middlesex University Mavericks Basketball Club, Leisure Kicks is proud to support grassroots sports clubs.
