Excitement is building ahead of the 2025 Softball World Series, which is set to take place on 6th and 7th September at the National Baseball & Softball Complex at Farnham Park in Slough, England.

A vibrant celebration of international slowpitch softball, the tournament features teams from across the UK and around the world in a weekend of softball competition, community, and culture.

The World Series has a proud history of bringing people together through the sport, with this year’s tournament set to be the 26th edition. It’s a standout event on the slowpitch calendar, where co-ed (mixed gender) teams represent countries and regions from every continent, from formal national squads to expat grassroots teams formed around a shared heritage or international connections.

Farnham Park, the UK’s premier softball and baseball venue, will once again play host to the event. With top-quality softball pitches, an on-site bar, and a capacity for up to 1,000 spectators and players, another lively atmosphere is expected during a fun, welcoming, and competitive international tournament.

This year’s tournament is limited to 24 national teams, with selection based on eligibility and application timing. At least 80% of a team’s roster must have a direct, provable connection to the country they’re representing.

The event is free to attend and offers something for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned fan or completely new to the sport. With multiple games taking place across the weekend, spectators can enjoy a fast-paced, sociable form of softball, where the emphasis is just as much on enjoyment and team spirit as it is on the scoreboard.
