Pop-up tables, free play, and community packages – see what’s new from Ping in the Community
Ping! is a nationwide initiative bringing free, accessible table tennis to public spaces across England. From high streets to parks, shopping centres to train stations, you’ll find colourful ping pong tables ready to play on – completely free of charge. Just grab a bat, head to a table, and start playing.
Backed by Sport England, Ping! also supports local groups through its Ping in the Community programme. This includes tailored packages that provide full-size indoor tables and equipment to community organisations, helping foster more active, connected, and inclusive communities.
Eligible locations include village halls, youth clubs, religious centres, and other non-profit spaces.
Projects must offer weekly access for at least a year, promote inclusion and diversity, and be available at no or very low cost. In addition, Ping! transforms empty retail units into vibrant Ping Pong Parlours, bringing fun and fitness into underused urban spaces.
