The Speedgolf championship was back for its third consecutive year at Sunningdale Heath Golf Club near Ascot, and took place on Sunday 7th September 2025
One of the most unique events in the UK golf calendar, Speedgolf blends athleticism with precision, challenging players to strike the perfect balance between pace and performance.
Following a record-breaking field of 56 competitors in 2024, this year’s event will reach full capacity, with registration selling out just four weeks after opening.
For the first time, the top-performing players from any category will make the cut to play 36 holes, with the second round taking place in the early afternoon, run in reverse order. Tee times begin at 8:00 am, with registration from 7:00 am.
Run-a-round
The 2024 edition showcased the inclusivity and growing appeal of Speedgolf, attracting PGA pros, amateurs, women, men, teens, and seniors.
Amateur golfer Will Major was crowned 2024 British Speedgolf Champion after topping the elite 36-hole field – Will ran the 18-hole course in an amazing 26:54 in his first round, then 27:03 in the second.
