Barre has been around for a while now and its popularity shows no sign of subsiding.

One of the best trainers out there is French former ballerina Nathalie Errandonea-Mewes, who, like so many at the forefront of fitness, has transferred her expertise from the studio to the small screen. Barre is a heady synthesis of Pilates, ballet and yoga, and Nathalie has stepped away from the traditional format by creating classes such as cardio barre and ‘booty blast’, each an effective high-intensity, low-impact mix.

Body by Ciara – girls just wanna get fit
If you’ve not heard of Ciara in 2020, you don’t know what you’ve been missing. Ciara London is a female-only fitness instructor, whose teaching centres on a simple but powerful equation: Intensive training + female empowerment + body positivity.

Her live-stream workouts throughout 2020 have received overwhelmingly positive reviews and, shared on IGTV, they are a bargain too. For just £15 a month, you’ll have access to in excess of 30 workouts a week, including everything from full-on HIIT and weights to yoga and meditation.
