With the indoor and beach volleyball competitions receiving rave reviews from fans at the London 2012 Olympics, Volleyball England is working hard to build on this legacy and capitalise on the wave of enthusiasm. With the aim of encouraging young people to get into the sport, dozens of beach volleyball courts have been created, using the sand from the Olympic courts. You can now find these sandy courts across England, including London, Brighton and Weston Super Mare. As for the indoor version, you can find teams of every level all over the country to suit your skill level.
Volleyball England and its partners provide courses covering all areas of the game including coaching, refereeing and volunteer roles. International courses are available at the National Volleyball Centre in Kettering.
Volleyball England offers an excellent coaching development service, from volunteers to those wanting to reach professional standard, to ensure coaches have skills and training to support players as they develop.
